Stop Trafficking of People Now (STOPNOW) is a project managed by the Centre of Research and Action on Peace (KEDE). The goal of STOPNOW is to confront and combat human trafficking, specifically the trafficking of women and children for the purposes of sexual and economic exploitation.

STOPNOW is engaged in anti-trafficking activities in Greece and other countries such as Albania, Ukraine and Georgia.

STOPNOW was established in December 2001 with two fundamental objectives: the prevention of trafficking and the provision of assistance to victims of trafficking to facilitate reintegration into society.

STOPNOW
advocates voluntary repatriation of trafficked victims and/or social integration of the victims,, respect for the individual’s dignity and protection of the victims’ human rights.

STOPNOW is financed by the International Economic Relations and Development Co-oreration (YDAS-Hellenic Aid) - General Secreteriat of the Hellenic Ministry of Foreign Affairs
